Going Green | Digital Canvas Recycles

Digital Canvas is proud to announce we are doing our part to decrease the carbon foot print we leave behind.

A couple weeks ago Jay bought some collapsible laundry bags and labeled them based on material, now we're proud to say we recycle soda cans, scrap paper, cardboard, mounting board, and even old electronics!

The dropbox at the school across the street accepts paper, but for all other materials, we take them to the Westpark Consumer Recycling Center. All you have to do is drive up and pop the trunk. The center employees scoop up all your recyclables, shut your trunk, and send you on your way- it's that easy. They except all materials except plastic toys and packing materials, like peanuts. They even take used motor oil and electronic scrap.

We're also looking into other ways to be green, like buying recycled paper towel and reusable bottles for water. Alex has been known to walk to work on nice days, and Celia is researching bicycles to use as her main transportation into the office.
